Bennett, 21, was selected as Jamaica’s representative for the 66th staging of the pageant after securing the crown at home back in August.

She first had advanced to the top 16 as a wildcard. She then had a nervous wait to make the top 10 as her name was the last to be called for that cut. Bennett then sneaked into the top five and then top three.

Currently a second-year marketing at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, Bennett has modeled for Pulse at London Fashion Week.

Bennett, who is from Clarendon has also established a foundation for the deaf.
